Today’s Careering Talk is a special one because January is #NationalMentoringMonth in Canada and I have invited guests that I have mentored and built relationships with to join me and share their experiences.
The topic today is Networking and Mentorship with Jaime Garbett.
Jaime is a 2015 graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. During school, Jaime was an undergraduate research assistant with the University of Guelph. She is a recipient of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Undergraduate Student Research Award.
Since graduation, Jaime has worked at the M&M Food Market as a Product Consultant, been an Associate in the RBC Career Launch Program, been an Analyst for the RBC High Risk Client Team, worked as an Executive Assistant for RBC Caribbean Banking and most recently become a Coordinator, Enterprise Distribution Strategy with the RBC Global Asset Management Team.
In her spare time, Jaime likes to expand on her journey of continuous discovery through different courses, spend time with her 10 week-old niece, and binge far too much Netflix!
