Students and young professionals are facing barriers, uncertainty, biases and changing priorities as they navigate the school to work transition. Their collective stories have inspired me and now I want to share these stories with you.
My guest today is Aaron Ambrose. Aaron is currently enrolled at Huron University focusing on a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies Honours with a Specialization in Organizational Studies, Policy, and Ethics and expected to graduate in 2023. Aaron is also the 2017 recipient of the Alberta First Year Scholarship which was awarded to him for being the Alberta Student with the highest average entering Huron University College at Western University. Aaron also has volunteered his time as the Vice President Finance | Huron Queer Association and has a strong interest in the preservation of human rights.
This summer, Aaron was an Operations Agent for RBC and is currently an RBC Student Ambassador at Huron University if you would like to connect with him back on campus. In his spare time, Aaron likes to spend time with friends and family, binge new Netflix shows, and follow politics.
I had the chance to talk Self-Acceptance, empathy and compassion with Aaron Ambrose and I am happy to share our conversation with you, Enjoy!
